On January 1, 2022, the General Administration of Customs issued the Measures for the Administration of Customs Comprehensive Bonded Zones of the People's Republic of China, under which the Customs took the lead in optimizing and integrating special customs supervision areas such as export processing zones, bonded logistics parks, cross-border industrial zones, bonded port areas and eligible bonded zones, and transformed and upgraded them into comprehensive bonded zones. High requirements are put forward for the inspection of freight vehicles and goods entering the comprehensive bonded zone.
